Musical Supervisor and Director

Tony Castro’s work as a conductor, musical director/ supervisor and keyboard player includes: Monty
Python’s Spamalot, The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Wicked and Les Misérables. Other MD credits include: City of Angels, Sweeney Todd, Lucky Stiff, Honk!, Oklahoma!, Camelot, Into the Woods and The Beggar’s Opera. Other opera conducting credits
include: La bohème and world premieres of Amerika (2012) and The Red Volcano (2011). Compositions include: Early in the Morning, the award-winning book of new nursery rhymes by Charles Causley. Tony has also led musical theatre/music departments in many UK performing arts institutions including: Trinity Laban, Central School of Speech and Drama, Rose Bruford College, ALRA and the BRIT School.
